Several Manchester united fans are enraged with the news that rivals Liverpool have highjacked key target Cody Gakpo after the Netherlands and PSV star had agreed to join Liverpool football club.
The forward have been widely linked with the old trafford side in January but on Monday night, it was announced out of nowhere that Liverpool have an agreement in place to sign the forward after paying his buyout clause.
The deal was announced after Liverpool’s win over Aston villa at villa Park.
United fans are furious with the club’s board for not acting ahead of their archrivals. It was not the late Christmas gift Manchester united wanted to receive as news develop rapidly on boxing day night with left overs yet to settle. But with all eyes on old trafford move from PSV next month, the 23year old world cup hero is instead heading to Anfield.
As they gear up for life without Christiano Ronaldo, again united have made no secret they want to be active next month and a new striker is too of their agenda.
