Arsenal legend Emmanuel Petit has doubts about the mindset of English defender Ben white after the Arsenal star’s mysterious world cup exit in Qatar.
White headed home from England’s camp in Al-wakrah just before their 3-0 win against Wales in their final group game, and neither Arsenal nor three lions or white himself have come out to say anything which left Petit bemused by the whole incident.
Petit was quoted telling mega casino:
“What happened to Ben white, the whole situation was really weird he left the national team because he has an argument with someone? Come on, it’s a world cup!”
Reports has it that white fell out with England’s assistant coach Steve Holland. However England Boss Gareth Southgate doesn’t want to give those rumors credibility.
Petit reckons that the situation must be serious given that it happened during a world cup tournament with white representing his national side. He then further said” This is a lifetime event, if something happened it must be serious for him to leave. We all know what it means to wear the national team shirt.
He concluded by saying that the event that transpired between white and his national side is unprecedented and wondered about white’s state of mind.
